Daddy Issues – How to write Erotica about Incest and Pseudo-incest on Amazon Kindle Store.

I always believe in writing something that you find interesting. For me, I often fantasize about the relations between forbidden taboos, specifically within the family. Lately, all my writing has been about a daughter and her daddy doing… well, exactly what you expect from an erotica.

I just want to clarify that this is all a fantasy and I in-no-way endorse or encourage these types of illegal taboos. A fantasy is simply that, a fantasy. It’s not meant to be real or done in real life. It’s no different than watching a horror movie where some guy kills everyone for no apparent reason. I could never see myself doing any of the things I wrote with my own father. That’d be wrong and weird.

In my journey into writing erotica for a living, I quickly learned that Amazon is not a big fan of this sort of work. In fact, they often block some of my writing because it’s a little too extreme in material for them. I can’t say I blame them, but it is a real shame. I just simply enjoy writing about it so much.

To counter this though, I ensure that the characters in my story are not blood-related. You must absolutely make this clear if you want to publish your book onto Amazon. For instance, instead of writing father, you must write stepfather. Instead of dad, you should write the nickname: Daddy.

NEVER give any indication that the characters in your story are related. I know that’s not really part of the fantasy, but this is the only way to have a chance to publish your story. That being said, Amazon may still block your story if it’s too over the top. Sometimes I get unlucky and still have my book blocked even though I made it crystal clear that they are not related.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be about a stepfather or a stepdaughter either. It could also be about an older mentor or perhaps a man who looked after the girl since she was a child. Women (such as myself) often fantasize about being with an experienced older man. With all my pen names on Amazon, I find that writing about these sorts of relationships is one of my most profitable niches.

Anyway, I hope this article helped you in some way. If you have any questions, please leave me a comment or an e-mail. I’m thinking about releasing some of my older erotica work as an example or how bad of a writer I was a year ago. Let me know if you’d be interested in reading some of it!
